Your Guide To A Wizard's Shopping Center!

Welcome, Harry, to Diagon Alley!

Diagon Alley has long been the major shopping center for all of those in the magical world. The Alley is probably dated back to ancient times. Here you can learn about this wonderful place for wizards to spend their time. *Please note that not all of this information has been stated correct by the books and that this was ALL originally written by The Owlery!*

How To Get To Diagon Alley.
First of all you need to get to the Leaky Cauldron. That's an old looking building in London that only people from the wizard world know about. Then, you leave the Leaky Cauldron through the back door and start counting bricks in a certain manner. When you have tapped the appropriate brick, the wall begins to whirl and opens a round entrance to the fantastic Diagon Alley. (Note: J.K. Rowling said the wall whirls and it, in fact, does not simply slide open like Chris Columbus showed us!)

Where To Go:
Here are some sites of interest.

Madame Malkin's Robe Shop- Madame Malkin sells only the finest wizard robes to Hogwarts students and adult wizards alike!

Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Shop- Everybody loves Florean's deliciously magical flavors!

Apothocary- They sell the best potion ingrediants, so this is your place if you like Snape! (They must not do much business then! hehe!)

Eyelop's Owl Emporium- Eyelop sells extraordinary owls!

Gingotts Wizard Bank- There isn't a safer place... 'cept perhaps Hogwarts

Quality Quidditch Supplies- I think the name sort of says it all...

Olivander's Wands- Makers of fine wands for thousands of years!

Hope you enjoyed your stay!
